DMCA Copyright Policy
Last updated June 29, 2026. This page explains how copyright owners can report alleged infringement and how users can submit counter-notices.
Important notice
This policy follows the structure of the U.S. DMCA. Yardrock TV should register a designated agent with the U.S. Copyright Office if it wants the strongest available online-service-provider safe-harbor position. Attorney review is recommended.
Before sending a notice
Consider whether the use may be authorized, licensed, fair use, newsworthy, commentary, criticism, archival, embedded from an authorized platform, or otherwise lawful. False copyright notices can create legal liability.
DMCA takedown notice
A copyright owner or authorized agent should send a written notice with:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, including the URL and enough information to locate it.
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the owner.
Where to send notices
Use the contact page and include "DMCA Notice" in the topic line. If Yardrock TV appoints a formal designated agent, the agent's legal name, address, phone number, and email should be added here and registered with the U.S. Copyright Office.
Counter-notice
If you believe material was removed by mistake or misidentification, send a counter-notice that includes your physical or electronic signature, the removed material and its prior location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification, your name, address, telephone number, email address, and consent to the jurisdiction required by the DMCA.
Repeat infringers
Yardrock TV may terminate submission privileges, refuse future materials, block accounts, or remove content from users who repeatedly infringe or repeatedly submit content without necessary rights.
