About Yardrock TV
For more than 15 years, Yardrock TV has been a trusted voice in Caribbean entertainment, culture, music, and storytelling. Built from a deep love for reggae, dancehall, and the people who shape the culture, Yardrock TV has documented important moments, amplified legendary voices, and connected Caribbean audiences around the world.
Over the years, Yardrock TV has interviewed and featured some of the most influential names in reggae and dancehall, including Third World, Cocoa Tea, Joey Wales, Barrington Levy, Marcia Griffiths, Shaggy, Shabba Ranks, Ninja Man, Lady Saw, Byron Lee and the Dragonaires, Spragga Benz, and many more.
These conversations have helped preserve the stories, experiences, and contributions of artists whose music has carried Jamaican and Caribbean culture across generations and borders.
The Reggae Museum
Today, Yardrock TV continues that work in an even greater capacity as the curators of The Reggae Museum. Through interviews, cultural programming, exhibitions, archives, public activations, and digital storytelling, we are committed to protecting and celebrating the legacy of reggae and dancehall while making space for the next generation of artists, creatives, and cultural leaders.
Our Mission
Our mission is to document, preserve, and amplify the history, culture, fashion, music, and global influence of reggae and dancehall.
We believe that Caribbean culture deserves to be properly celebrated, remembered, and passed on. Yardrock TV exists to honor the pioneers, spotlight today’s voices, educate future generations, and ensure that the stories behind the music are never forgotten.
From the foundation legends to emerging talent, Yardrock TV remains dedicated to telling our stories with authenticity, pride, and respect.
